The label, which included a graphic collaboration with the award winning artist SO ME,
quickly became one of the most sought after
and iconic part of the cutting edge underground art and music scene in Harajuku, Tokyo.
Along with his on-going music and DJ collaborations
with international musicians and artists such as Justice, Brodinski,
Kingdom and Total Freedom to name a few,
KIRI launched ‘FINAL HOME x REVOLVER’ with fellow designer Kosuke Tsumura in 2014,
which offers a collection combining Tsumura’s progressive
and realistic utilitarian concepts and KIRI’s enigmatic aesthetics of the underground
and anti-conformism. Later in the year, a new project with Hiroshi Iguchi and Keita Ishiguro,
the key members of a legendary graphic artists group,
Illdozer bore “PHIRE WIRE” at VERSUS TOKYO,
a showcase for the most innovative designers at Japan Fashion Week.
Seeking to blend the ordinary and unconventional,
PHIRE WIRE tunes into day to day random coincidences derived from outside of
the fashion context and creates the unexpected.
KIRI’s artistic collaborations are widely known by the creative industry
and he continues to evolve and influence the present generation through
his own vision and format connected to the senses.
